- Rosie Beswick started her career in business administration after her initial college
training in business studies & commercial law, then qualifying in administrative
accountancy. CPD has been a key factor in Rosie’s career.
- Career started as the youngest Box Office manager of a National theatre and festival
giving her team management skills, logistical skills and a good understanding of
working with creative individuals and companies.
- Five years later, through secondment from a international accountancy firm, moved
to become the Company Accountant of an engineering and service company in Manchester.
Rosie remained there for over 5 years in which time the company turnover rose four
fold, acquired additional activities, became computerised, and started a very lucrative
export campaign. Her role there was very varied and included all the financial aspects
plus many administrative, training, research and systems projects too. This role
again gave Rosie the opportunity to increase her management, financial and administrative
skills & qualifications as well as understand the mind set of an engineering & technical
business.
- 1990 saw her first move into self employment and business ownership - jointly with
her husband Frank. They owned gastro pubs for over 10 years which again required
a new set of skills including the role of Head Chef for most of those years. They
obtained many awards during this time including Excellence in Service. During this
period Rosie continued to obtain further qualification, most notably in a wide range
of computer skills as well as working part time in the field of International Market
Research.
- 2001 Rosie moved to Shropshire launched Rosie Consulting and has continued to be
involved with International Market Research as well as further increasing her skills
through training. Rosie also heads a second business www.seekitout.co.uk and is
a founder and a joint leader of the hugely successful business women’s network group
Network with Style founded in 2008 www.networkwithstyle.com
Rosie’s entire career has given her extensive qualifications, skills, and expertise
in many aspects of business as well as a deep understanding of the obstacles and
opportunities faced by micro, small and rural business. This provides a sound skilled
knowledge base for the consultancy.
